We offer full day pre-booked visits for school groups of up to 35 children costing just £175 (as of 1st Feb 2024)
School visits are aimed at primary school children where they will walk with the Warden, Ray Jackson and discover what birds and animals are living in or visiting the reserve. There is a charge of £5 per head above 35 children to a maximum of 40 and accompanying adults go free.
In the morning they will learn to sing like the birds and become animal detectives and discover the clues that wildlife leave behind. They will also hear enchanting stories about the animals and plant life within the woods.
In the afternoon they will get to go pond dipping!!
Pond dipping is an easy enjoyable activity for all children and adults to get involved in! Exploring beneath the surface of the water and discovering an unseen world of amazing wildlife. There are all sorts of interesting creatures living in our pond.
If more than 35 children are in the group please use the extra drop-down and select extra child and then select the number up to 5.
Please note in order to provide the best possible experience for each child, we cannot accommodate more than 40 children per visit.
